「新聞知識庫」涵蓋聯合、經濟、民生、聯晚、星報、中時、工商、自由、自立、中央、蘋果、聯統、臺灣新聞報等十餘種報紙之全版新聞標題索引。此資料庫目前收錄近一千四百多萬筆新聞，並提供部份
300 DPI 高畫質影像剪報供調閱，可線上直接檢索並立即取得單篇剪報影像。
「Newspapers in Taiwan」includes news title index of United Daily/evening
News、Economic Times、Ming Sang、UD Stars、China times、Liberty times、Central、Apple
Daily、News Taiwan and so on. This database contains near 14 million
of news coverage and provides 300DPI video clipping for use. You
can also go online directly to search and get the video clip. |

收錄國立臺中圖書館收藏之早期舊版報紙，包括民報（館藏民國三十四年十月十一日至三十六年二月）、台東新報（館藏自民國四十四年一月至四十六年五月
）、大華新聞（館藏自民國四十五年九月至四十六年四月）等。
This database contains old issues of newspaper which was collected
by National Taichung Library, including MINPAO（Oct. 11th , 1945
to Feb, 1947）、Taitung News（Jan, 1955 to May, 1957）、Dahua News（Sep,
1956 to Apr. 1957）and so on. |

本系統收錄中央各部會與北高二市政府機關之最新消息及新聞稿，讀者可藉由開放式關鍵詞彙、發佈機關、新聞內容、新聞標題…等檢索項，查閱政府之重要施政方針、活動紀錄等；並可及時連結官方網站，擷取具權威性、法律性及時效性之第一手官方新聞及訊息。
This database contains the latest news and news release of each
Central department, Taipei and Kaohsiung City government organizations.
Users can search by keyword, release organization, news content,
and news title to access to governmental administration policy,
activity records and so on；And link to the official website to access
cathedral, juristic and time limitary official news and messages.

《台灣時報》是日據時期「台灣總督府」所發行之日語機關雜誌，內容包含當時台灣的政治、產業、農業、貿易、交通、軍事、教育、司法、警察、土木、技術、工藝、文藝等之論文及統計資料，同時並收錄當時在台灣知名的日本作家之俳句、詩、小說等寶貴的研究資料與史料。 |

《台灣日日新報》是由1896年創刊的《台灣新報》與次年創刊的《台灣日報》在1898年合併而成，至1944年因物資短缺與官方欲進一步控制新聞的考量，與其他五家報紙被合併為《台灣新報》，出刊期間長達47年，是臺灣總督府發行的第一大報。 |
